A private project makes an important investment to recover the industrial area of Clesa in León city
The Leonese group Carobels is promoting 'The Business Factory' in 7,000 square metres, another concept of sustainable and responsible industrial estate that will be dedicated to the national and international expansion of this thriving group, but in which it has also committed itself to entrepreneurship and the future establishment of new companies with an innovative profile.

It is, possibly, the most ambitious industrial project of private character that is undertaken today in the province of León. The project, which was born under the name of 'The business factory', has a considerable investment and the backing and solvency of a successful business group from Leon such as Carobels. The young promoter of this new concept of a more sustainable industrial area, Juan José Cabero, explains that it has been carried out "with as much enthusiasm as effort".
It all came about when the company from Leon, which specialises in hairdressing and cosmetic products - this week saw a new international recognition, one more, with this innovative product - took over the 7,000 square metres of excellent location on Avenida Antibioticos in Leon, which in the 70s housed the factory of Centrales Lecheras Españolas S.A. (the mythical Clesa, where, in addition to milk, the Cacaolat brand was produced) and which in its good times housed more than 250 employees.
An area of social and environmental responsibility
A place with the charm of the industrial constructions of that time, with wide open spaces, landscaped areas and light, aspects that the rehabilitation work of those abandoned spaces are gradually putting in value. And that, as Cabero explains, will be the rebirth of "an industrial complex in which we will print our policy of social and environmental responsibility that we already apply in Carobels, renewable energies, maximum energy efficiency and full accessibility as key factors".
The success endorses the new philosophy of this family company from Leon, which has been linked to the sector for more than 35 years and since 2008 has successfully undertaken an expansion to make a place for itself in the national and international panorama through the development of brands and products with great added value.
Such a success that Carobels needs to grow with much more space. Its bet: to continue doing so in Leon, in 'La fábrica de negocios'. Therefore, its plan is to move to this new industrial area at the end of this year, starting with the new warehouse that will serve the different points of sale and from which the logistics of national and international orders will be directly managed. It will also have a ShowRoom where they will provide service to customers and a Training Center where training courses will be given.

Prepared for renting as a "dream factory
During this year 2018 they plan to be able to move the offices and the rest of the departments there as well, such as the handling area. Juan José Cabero estimates that only his company will be able to occupy around half of the space that will be available, leaving the rest of the infrastructure fully prepared for renting in unbeatable conditions.
The ambitious and modern plan of attraction, besides the sustainability and the last in the best services as incentives, is thinking for companies of high innovative, technological and logistic profile that look for a green space and so strategically located with respect to the main routes of communication of Leon capital (all the highways, like to Europe by Burgos, Madrid, Asturias, Galicia and in general all the northwest, as well as the railroad and the airport).
Cabero hopes, in this way, to contribute to the industrial expansion of the province by fitting out a space that will become not only a business factory, but also a 'dream factory' where young entrepreneurs, like him, can materialize their projects, promote qualified employment and the technological and business development of our city.
